Sorry for not updating sooner, but I have been busy. The shop is scaled down in size so looking around is even more of a challenge, but if you don't mind digging, you may just find what you are looking for. I DO still have space for new stuff if you get tired of trying to sell it on the net. As some of you know I have been in the shop Monday through Saturday in the mornings when I don't have a quick errand to run. For the most part my legs are better. Although the carnival will have me buried behind booths and make my little shop an even hotter oven, I will continue to be there until this passes even if you don't see me from the street. I hope that those who still have stuff to sell in the shop or on your boat will continue on giving me the opportunity to do so for you. In any case, stop on by and say "Hi" if nothing else.
Its going to be a great new year. I can feel it in my bones. If you have any more questions or want to make an appointment to make sure I am in the shop, please email me at kevinlock2001@yahoo.com
Enjoy our natural sauna in this heat and thanks,
Kevin
Although the location may appear to be less than civilized, it is safe and I am happy to have you
stop by. The shop is located under the bridge between Bruno's and Hotel Vista Rio restaurants and marinas in Fronteras on the Rio Dulce river. I warn you though, hours are thermostatically controlled, normally when it gets over 100 degrees in the shop, I am out of here!
If you feel lost trying to find things here, you are not alone. Lost
& Found is a relatively new concept (one year old!) for the Rio Dulce area in that we are here to help people to both locate things and to get
rid of them. If you have things taking up space that you would like to be rid of, bring them in with a priced copy of your inventory and I will see what I can do for you.
You can provide basic items to the locals that is otherwise not avalaible, so in this respect you are providing a service as well. With this location I am able to assist both the
locals and the visitors to the area with easy access by both land or water. You can advertise your items on the net on channel 69 at 7:30 in the mornings to the local boaters, but I can expand the market by making it avalaible to the local population as well. For more information on how it works, please read the operation procedures.
Who would have thought it?! By great fortune and poor planning, now
has the shop taken over the place next door. Maybe it's not worthy of the headline news, but by not
knowing how blessed I would be with the response of the community in bringing stuff to sell, and my poor planning on
space to house those items. I have expanded, it is in its infancy though. Yes, it's rough like the other shop was to start with by
having shelves made of brick and construction board, but that will change. Services are expanding too, please go through the list on the left and see what is here. Little by little as people realize that there is power in numbers and we join forces to share our strengths, Lost & Found is becoming a hub for people to expose their skills or special abilities while marketing them.
Like the shop, this website is loaded with hidden treasures with special things for many interests. Not only will you find things you may be looking for, but also many wonders of what you may see or do while in the area in the "My Passion" link. So, with that in mind, take your time to look around at the various links. I promise you more than you bargained for. Enjoy!
